Reply to Ask Your Teacher Messages

You can reply to your students' Ask Your Teacher messages.

Note

Because students use Ask Your Teacher messages to request help, turn off this feature if you don't plan to answer your students' messages regularly.
Before responding to an Ask Your Teacher message, you might want to view your student's activity and responses for the assignment.
You can't respond to your student's message by replying to a notification email.
Students cannot view replies to Ask Your Teacher messages after the assignment's View Until date has passed.

At the bottom of all of the messages for an assignment question, click Reply.

If your student sent more than one message for a single assignment question, your reply is associated not with a specific message, but with the conversation about the assignment question.
Type your message in the Reply box.

You can use Quick Notes in your message.
Click Send.

Your message is sent and the conversation status is changed to answered.

If needed, you can add another reply to the conversation or report a question error.
