A question is flagged if one or more of its parts are answered incorrectly by many of your students. If needed, you can adjust the flagging threshold.
A is shown instead of the flag icon if the flagging threshold is met but fewer than 20% of weighted question parts were answered.
As with status icons, flagging reflects student performance on attempted question parts only.
Possible causes for flagged questions include:
- your students don't yet understand the topic
- a question part covers topics you haven't covered in class
- a question part uses different terminology or approaches to the topic than you did when covering the material
- a question part has a problem either with its contents or behavior
