Students After creating your courses in WebAssign, you can manage your class rosters. Rostering OptionsDepending on your institution, you might be able to enroll students in more than one of the following ways. View a RosterA course roster displays the current and dropped students and any faculty members to whom you have given access. You can quickly switch from viewing one roster to another, which can help if you are transferring a student from one section to another section of the same class. Add a StudentYou can add a single student to your class in WebAssign. Change a Student's Nickname or ID NumberYou can change the student nicknames and ID numbers shown in your roster. Create Student Groups for CourseIf you want to assign your students group work in WebAssign, you can either create different student groups for each assignment, or you can create one set of student groups for your class to use for all of your group assignments. Download Course RostersYou can download student rosters for one or more sections of a course. Personal Study PlanThe Personal Study PlanĀ® helps your students identify which sections of the textbook they have mastered and which sections require more study, and provides each student a customized selection of instructional resources that address the student's deficiencies. CommunicationsWebAssign provides a number of features for communicating with students and other instructors at your institution without having to use email. Use WebAssign as a Student Use Student View to experience WebAssign as a student. Switch to Student View when you create courses, set up Personal Study PlansĀ®, configure scoring and grading, schedule assignments, etc. to ensure that everything is working as you intended. This is also a great way to troubleshoot problems, like assignments not scoring correctly.
