You can set the GradeBook final score calculation to be based either on points or
weighted category
scores. When based on weighted category scores, you can adjust the weights for each
category toward the final
score.

From the GradeBook, click Settings.

Click the Final tab.

Change how GradeBook calculates a final score.
How GradeBook calculates the final score is shown under Final Grade
Calculation, for example, WebAssign will calculate a final grade based on
the category averages.

Calculate the final score based on points |
- Select Let each category be worth the total number of points that are on
the assignments within it.
- Click Save.

Calculate the final score based on weighted category averages |
- Select Let me specify the weighting of each category.
- Click Save.

If using weighted category averages: Under Weight Toward Final Grade,
enter the relative weight of each category as a non-negative number.
Typically, category weights will add up to 100, but this is not required.

Click Save.
If you don't want to update your GradeBook calculations now, first clear
Update GradeBook.
After updating the final score calculation, you might need to Edit the Grading Scale.
