You can drop specific assignment scores from the GradeBook for all students so they
are no longer
considered in grade calculations. For example, you can drop the scores for the first
quiz of the
term.
Dropped assignments are not counted toward the points possible or points earned in
GradeBook calculations.
-
From the GradeBook, click Settings.
-
Click the Categories tab.
-
At the top of the Categories
page, select an assignment category.
Assignments in that category are listed.
-
Either drop the assignment from GradeBook calculations or remove it from the GradeBook
completely.
To do this |
Do this |
Drop the assignment |
Beside the assignment, select drop from gradebook calculations.
The assignment score will be listed, but will not be used in any
calculations.

The assignment will not be listed in the GradeBook.
|

If you don't want to update your GradeBook calculations now, first clear

dropped assignments from calculation of points possible and points earned.
To verify that the assignment was dropped from calculations, you can view
calculation details for the student's category score.
