Expiration date of releases

The jar files in Marvin Applets packages are signed with a trusted certificate from Thawte. Every certificate expires after a certain time. We renew the contract regularly (every 2 years). We certainly build each release with a valid certificate but we do not resign jar files of deprecated releases.

After the expiration date, the signed applet stays usable: only a warning may be displayed upon loading the applet but it does not cause any limitation in its usage or in its functionality.
