The Vectors tutorial capitalizes on its hypertext environment to let students work at their own speed and comfort level as they move through the material. The program begins with the definition of vectors and moves on to explain related concepts and operations. A unique feature lets students practice vector addition and subtraction graphically, which helps them explore different properties from a visual perspective. They can actually "see" the vector operations and move the vectors into place with the mouse. Simulations and exercises are also included.
