WebAssign Access Code Information
Depending on your class,
you may be required to enter or purchase an access code after you log in to your WebAssign account. Your instructor
may provide you with a WebAssign access
card, an access code may come in your textbook, you may purchase a card at your bookstore,
or you can order a card online using instructions on your WebAssign homepage.
Your WebAssign Student Access Code is not your password and is not required for logging in.
There are several types of WebAssign Student Access Codes:
-
Small Access Code Card
If you have a small WebAssign Student Access
Code card, simply scratch off the silver coating in the middle
of the card to reveal your unique access code. Your code will
have 2 or 3 letters followed by 10 or 11 numbers.
Security Envelope Access Code Card
If you have a Security Envelope WebAssign Student Access Code card, simply tear off the stubs and open the envelope. Your code will have a prefix depending on the type of card you purchased and a 16-alphanumeric code.
Access Code printed in a textbook or pamphlet
If you purchase a textbook or other material from your bookstore with a WebAssign access code printed inside, follow the instructions with the code.
Access Code purchased online from your WebAssign homepage
If you purchase an access code online from your WebAssign homepage, the code will automatically be entered for you. At the end of the purchase you will be all set to use WebAssign for the rest of the term.
Unless you purchase your access code online from WebAssign, you will see instructions for choosing your prefix and entering your code after you log in to WebAssign.
Transferring Access Codes
Within the first 2 weeks of the term, your access code should transfer from one section to another automatically. If for any reason the transfer does not occur, please request the transfer using the Student Help Request form.
Refunds
Within the first 2 weeks of the term, you can receive a refund for a WebAssign Access Code purchased online. Please request the refund by replying to the confirmation email you received. If you no longer have the confirmation email, please use the Student Help Request form.
