WebAssign is currently searching for an experienced technology leader to fill a key role in our young and growing IT group. As our IT Infrastructure Manager, you will lead a group of Systems and Infrastructure Engineers supporting our production and corporate IT environments.

You will leverage your leadership experience to manage a small team, providing technical leadership, managing workflow and priorities, and translating business objectives to actionable technology plans.

Your extensive experience in server hardware, virtualization technologies, networking, operating systems, and storage will lead to your success in managing our dynamic, business-critical environments and maintaining SLAs internally and externally. Note that we are a non-Microsoft environment, so you will need deep experience with open-source tools and operating systems, with a focus on the LAMP stack.

As an experienced project manager, you'll create end execute project plans, effectively manage cross-functional resources, ensure projects stay on time and on budget, and own the project roadmap for the corporate and production infrastructure teams.

Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively interface with leaders across the organization, understand their business needs, and deliver technology solutions which enable the business to operate productively, today and in to the future.

Finally, as someone who is passionate about documentation and standards, you will work with other leaders in IT to ensure the IT Service Catalog, IT Document Library, and SOPs are created, maintained, updated, and organized following the ITIL v3 framework.
