Those of you that were at WAUG saw an interesting applet called jmol
that can help students visualize molecules in 3D.
We have added a function in WebAssign that makes it easy for you to use
a jmol applet in a question.
In a nutshell, you would use the jmol software to generate an
appropriate configuration file, and save that file to your computer.
Upload that file to your My Files area, then use it in a WebAssign
question by a statement like: .
An example QID is available, called 'template.jmol'.
Information on Jmol is available here: http://jmol.sourceforge.net/
Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions!
